Originally from Chicago, Tony Marchese grew up in an Italian family. At age 18, instead of going to college, Tony's father opened him a Pizzeria called Village Pizza where he and his uncle ran the business. Years later, Tony decided to go south to Palm Springs to get out of the cold winters. He started in real estate sales in the desert but after a few years he decided it was time to do what he was really passionate about; the restaurant business. He later met Mark Vanlannen and Opened Trio Restaurant in 2009. Tony is also the co-Producer of Palm Desert Food and Wine Festival with Palm Springs Life Magazine.
